45th Reunion of the 1960 Class
October 14th and 15th, 2005
On
Friday night, the weekend started with a bang at the home of John & Cindy
Ferris. 86 classmates renewed friendships while enjoying a little beer,
wine and freshly grilled pork tacos served from an authentic-looking Mexican
street cart.
Saturday began with Mimosas and a delicious brunch at Carole (Baker) and
Doug Adkins' home. 82 classmates gathered all over the house and spilled
onto their beautiful patio.
Saturday night at Sammy's included a BBQ dinner and dancing to The
Nightcaps. 114 classmates crowded onto the floor and danced to their
classic song, Wine, Wine, Wine. Phelps L'Hommedieu joined the
band at the keyboard and Buddy Boren sang. (see pictures) They then watched
as Milton Gish was crowned Homecoming Favorite (see pictures), his reward for
45 years of faithful service to the Class of 1960.
