WINBORN, JOHN H., 63, was born May 3, 1941 in Dallas and passed away October 15, 2004. John was a graduate of Highland Park High School. He attended UT Austin then went on to the University of Houston then graduated from the South Texas School of Law. John was a member of the Masons and the Texas Bar Association. John practiced law for many years in Dallas and was Board Certified in Family Law; and he had worked as an Assistant Public Defender for Dallas County. John is survived by his sisters, Mary Winborn and Bobbi Winborn; niece, Emily Johnson; nephew, Matthew Winborn Olin, and other family members including cousins, Daniel Hunter and Claude D. Winborn, Jr., as well as numerous other relatives and friends. Visitation will be 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm Sunday, October 24, 2004 at Grove Hill Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Monday, October 25, 2004 at Grove Hill Memorial Park.
